When Chris and Jeanette Slater decided to move to a new build property in order to shorten Mr Slater’s daily commute to work, part exchange with Quick Move Properties offered peace of mind and a quick, easy move.
Mrs Slater explains: “We decided to make the move to be closer to my husband’s work and cut down his daily commute; our previous property was an hour away from my husband’s job and now we’re just ten minutes away.
“The reduced commute makes such a difference to our day – my husband used to have to leave for work at 6.20am and often wouldn’t be back until 6.30pm. Now, he doesn’t have to leave until 7.30am or even 7.40am and he finishes work at 4.30pm so he’s back by 5pm. We have more of an evening together now, and he feels so much better because he doesn’t have to do the long commute every day.
